Chapter 22 to 24.

In the previous chapters, Elizabeth is less than thrilled to have Mr Collins proposed to her the day after the ball.

She gently declines, but he insists she will change her mind.

Mrs Bennet is furious and demands Elizabeth marries him,

while Mr. Bennet humorously counters that he will disown her if she does marry Collins.

Later on, Jane receives a letter from Miss Bingley stating that Bingley is leaving for the city indefinitely and hints he will marry Darcy's sister.

Elizabeth reassures Jane that it's all the wishful thinking of Miss Bingley, but Jane remains anxious about the matter.
