I'm Faith Moore, and this season we're reading Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.

Each episode, I'll read a few chapters from the book,

pausing from time to time to give brief explanations, so it's easier to follow along.

It's like an audiobook with built-in notes. So brew a pot of tea,

find a cozy chair, and settle in. It is episode 10. Can you believe it? Episode 10 of season two of storytime for

grownups. We're reading Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, a few chapters at a time with a few notes along the way,

and I'm so glad to be here with you.

You know, believe it or not, I'm starting to plan for the books to come, the next book.

This is a fairly time-intensive project that I do.

I love every minute of it, literally every minute.

But it takes a long time. And so I'm definitely

prepping for this December surprise that I have coming up for you. That's on the horizon. But also,

I'm starting to think about what we should read after that. I have a bunch of ideas, and all of them

are very exciting. But I would love to hear from you if you have any books that

you really hope that we will eventually get to on here. I would love to add those to my list.

They have to be in the public domain, which means that they're not governed anymore by copyright law.

Basically, that means they're old, but if you just Google is whatever their favorite book is

in the public domain, you will get a yes

or no answer. So I would love to hear from you about that. Just email me the same way that you
