I'm Faith Moore, and this season we're reading Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.

Each episode, I'll read a few chapters from the book,

pausing from time to time to give brief explanations, so it's easier to follow along.

It's like an audiobook with built-in notes. So brew a pot of tea,

find a cozy chair, and settle is the last week of October. Can you believe that Friday is going to be November 1st? It's crazy. I feel like the time is flying by. This is episode 15 of

Storytime for Grownups, season two. And there are going to be 23 episodes. So after today,

there will be eight more episodes of Pride and Prejudice, which means about four more weeks.

And then we're going to move into our Christmasy extravaganza for the month of December,

and then in January we'll start a whole new book.

So that's what's coming, and I'm really excited, but I'm also really excited to just be

here with you now reading Chapter 43, which is what we're going to be reading today.
