I mean the long and short of this is that the fee appears to be 45 plus 5 million as reported on

on Thursday morning which to me I don't know I don't know enough about football to know what

anything's worth these days but that feels insane to me and I don't want us to get involved at that price.

I think there's other issues in the team that need addressed first.

So going out and spent 40 million on a striker who, is he going to, like, is he going to start ahead of Calvert Luna?

I mean, I was like the fee, it is insane, but then all strikers cost this sort of money.

Like, he's kind of on a par with like Witte and Chow Pedro, people who had essentially the same as him, had a good season in the Premier League. You could argue he had longer, but last year was his best year, wasn't it? And then he gets a big money move. Is that maybe what you pay? I mean, the trick is to sign him from Salafigo, not from Wolves, isn't it? I guess so, yeah.

I'll get Whistow and he's, you know, a few million quid from France or whatever. Whatever trick Brentford managed to pull on that. But even the European clubs are starting to cotton onto that as well in terms of transfer fees. Like, they're not going, oh, well, he doesn't play in the Premier League, so you can have him for 20 million.
