Hey, welcome back to the Zoe Church podcast. We're a church in Los Angeles, a church for Jesus, a church

worshiping Jesus, and today we're so excited for you to tune in as you hear a message about discipleship.

Romans chapter 12 says, therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy,

to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God.

This is your true and proper worship.

In other words, let me explain this a little bit.

How do you offer your body as a living sacrifice?

And what does that mean?

I don't know if you're in here today and you see Nadine or the worship team, they're leading so well and it sounds so beautiful and it's powerful.

And you realize to yourself that you probably could never do what they're doing like me.

If I were to get up here and instead of preaching, I was leading worship.

Like I think the church you would leave.

I think God would leave.

I think the lights would turn off.

I just think it would be horrible, right? And I remember early on in my faith, I'm like, how do, how am I supposed

to worship like those people? I can't sing as loud or the tune of my song doesn't sound as good.

But really what Paul's saying is true worship isn't a song or a melody.

True worship is the way you live your life. And what discipleship looks like is making every part of

your life worship to God. That means the way you have a relationship is worship. The way you handle

your money is worship. The music you listen to can be a form of worship. The work that you do is a form of worship. Then it continues on Romans chapter 12 verse 2. It says, do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. That's discipleship. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is,

his good, pleasing, and perfect will. Now, if you're taking notes, you can write down the title
