All right, this is Brennan Sonome with the Noles 24-7 podcast here with

Chris Knee and joining us today for the first time since we started the

podcast is Josh Newburgh, who is a member of Noles 24-7, does a little bit of

everything recruiting extraordinarily

so excited to have him bored too. We're a couple days away from Florida State's

annual spring game so I think that's kind of where we will start off the podcast today.

Chris, would have been your general thoughts of spring?

I think they've had what, 13 practices, so one more,

and then spring in just takeaways from the demeanor of Coach Jimbo Fisher players.

What have you kind of observed and learned so far through this spring?

Well I think we talked about it last time on the podcast.

Last spring was very much a learning spring, and this spring to me hasn't been quite that.

This has been more about getting guys comfortable in the roles are supposed to play.

You know, I think Jimbo yesterday was in the best movie's probably been in all spring.

He was more talkative than it's been all spring with the media.

We went over a lot of players, especially a lot of guys that we just haven't talked about a lot in the spring

Offensively what I took away from the last couple of conversations we've had with Jimbo

You know he's pleased with De Andres play at quarterback. He has a stable of

running backs. Receiver's been kind of a mixed bag. He wants more consistency

out of a guy like DuPonty Phillips. Guys like George Campbell, Keith Gavin have been somewhat limited.

Tight end, they love his, though, offensive ones still work in progress.

You know, I think they have confidence in guys like Juan Williams, Josh Ball, replacing Roderick Johnson left tackle.
