We are literally a day away from the Merseyside Derby, the last Merseyside Derby at Goodersen Park.

It is our game in hand we can finally stop

talking about this you know six points ahead with a game in hand we can try and put the

points on the board and hopefully Liverpool can do that if we do do that Liverpool

go nine points clear of Arsenal and that means that maybe just maybe

we can start to believe even more but saying that we have to go there and actually do it.

It is an incredibly tough ground. We don't, I think maybe we've won twice in the last, I don't even know how many is, 12.

I remember a manoe goal in the 94th and then I remember the one where we beat them like

4-0 and Jota absolutely ran riot in that game. But Gooderson isn't a good stomping ground for us really, to

be honest, or at least not from what I remember. It might have been better when I was younger,

but in the last however many years when Liverpool have been at the top of world football,

we still have struggled to go to Goodison Park especially last year I was sadly

there last year and we just didn't show up we weren't tenacious enough they wanted it more

there was you know other things that had gone on with like Yeager and evening and stuff but Liverpool

just weren't up for it they didn't take their chances when they had them in the second half specifically um but Liverpool just weren't up for it and

ever and where they were all over us they were putting tackles in left right and centre they just

wanted it more they demanded it more and they had a higher level than us overall so hopefully

Liverpool have learned from that.

There are players who were, that was their first experience of a Merseyside Derby at Gooderson.

And hopefully they can use all of that info, all of those learning curves to go into this

game tomorrow and actually play better and win the game of football.
