Welcome back, Packer's fans to the Packaday podcast, Thursday edition, the Packet Day podcast. The Thursday edition, the Pack of a podcast is here. The only thing to look forward to this weekend if you're a Packers fan is

that it is the weekend. Unfortunately, there is no Packers football, but by now we know that

I'm just hoping that we're recording on Wednesday, as we always do, so we can get the stuff cleaned up for Thursday.

I'm hoping I told you, when we were talking a couple days ago, that if something happens, if there's big news out of Green Bay, out of 1265, Lombardy avenue i was kind of hoping it happened like

tuesday night or wednesday morning yeah and we would be all over now i'm fretting that it

happens wednesday night or thursday morning so hopefully what what we what we talk about today

will still be good new you know it won't be old news so so to speak. But of course, the story is head coach

Matt LaFleur. Will he still be the head coach to the Green Bay Packers in 2026? I mean,

there's reports early that he wasn't and he was and they're talking. I don't know how you feel,

but I think every day that goes by where nothing gets done leads me to believe nothing's going to get done.

Now, again, saying that, we know how the Packers operate as an organization I'm talking about,

not the players or coaches, but I mean, this is funny all the time.

This happens all the time, even like minor things.

You know, it'll get get out whether it's nationally

is when he and rapopor say or even locally with tom silverstein or ryan wood or one of those

guys you know oh the packers signed player x to a two-year deal and i don't and we'll get that

news on monday right it'll be on twitter it'll be you know wherever okay, that's interesting. He signed that guy to two years. Wednesday, I'll get an email from the Packers. Oh, we signed Player X to two years. Well, yeah, I knew that on Monday. You know, they don't always get the news out. The Packers themselves don't always get the news out right away. So there could be a deal done. This deal, I mean, the Packers and the floor may have a structured deal in place.

Now, again, when you're talking about that kind of deal, which is, you know, going to be multi-millions, millions of dollars.

Who knows how many years and all the details.
