So we're just going to take this one.

And today we are going to be discussing here on Close Reads, a podcast for the Incurable Reader.

We're going to be discussing movies and television shows because it is a preview of the

2023 Close Reader Literary Bracket, which this year is concerned with adaptation.

So we have the bracket in front of us, and we are quadrant by quadrant, matchup by matchup,

going to go through it, say what we think about these matchups, maybe even do a little bit

of prediction.

Before we do that, though, we don't have a lot of time, so we're going to dispense with the

pleasantries that you normally would hear at the beginning of this episode.

But I just want to know from the two of you.
