Our producers want to kill us back there,

but we had to give the people 13 games in this preview. We're running out of space for helmets

on this desk. It's mini helmet madness over here, but you mentioned that we set our record with

12 games two weeks ago. So you know what? Why not just go to 13? Because every single college

game now feels like it has some level of consequence, especially when you're talking about the race toward the playoffs. So I think every one of these games extremely important in their own right. And we will probably say, you know what, it's hard not to say you won't see a couple of upsets out of 13 games here that'll throw college football into even further chaos. Absolutely. This game has huge implications in the American Conference and by proxy,

the college football playoffs. So still, very early to make any sort of declarations on the

college football playoff right now. But I'll say, Dalton, it's probably going to be a major

surprise if the Group of Five playoff spot does not come from the American conference right now.

The only two group of five programs that are currently ranked in the AP top 25 come from

the American in Memphis and USF, one of the teams in this game. And two of the other three

group of five teams that receive votes in the AP poll are also from the American conference

in North Texas, the other team
