Welcome to Upfront. I'm Clay Morgan. And I'm Rachel Sullivan. It's time for our bumper WSL preview.

We're taking a look at all of the biggest stories ahead of the opening weekend, answering your questions, and maybe even offering a prediction or two with our flagpoles in the sand. So stay tuned.

I just have to give a bit of a caveat here we are recording this on friday a few days before you'll be hearing this so please forgive us it like if lester

have done something crazy and mad and they've gone you know really rogue and there's all these

rumours flying around or london city lineesses have boken like like another world record transfer like just forgive us because we don't yet have this

news we are not in the future of that reality just yet but right there's already been it's not

even been what 72 hours really since we first sort of bunked up in that lovely new studio and yet

chaos has descended upon

the WSL once more but before we get stuck into that I think we just go straight to the top of

the table mate I think we talk about who's going to be bossed it who we think are title contenders

who we think is going to be running away with the WSL and whether actually Chelsea going to be having a bit of a

run for their money this year. I mean, they take on Man City in the opener on Friday night.

What a game to start the season with. Looking forward to it? I can't wait. I'm so excited for that

game. Like, if I was to pick a game to kick off the WSL season, that would be it.

Like, you would think after last season, we'd be like, not Chelsea Mon City again.

Season 5, episode 6, or whatever it is, after their bumper March.

But actually, with both squads, touch wood, having full squads, having fit squads, having

their, you know, all of their weapons available to them, playing at Stamford Bridge, yeah,

I'm excited.

I'm looking forward to seeing how both teams line up, but I just think it gives us a real

indication of where they're at.

Another game, Friday night under the lights as well. I always think that I always think that's such a lovely kind of like juicy one to get stuck into. I'm assuming you're going to be down there, let the Sanford Bridge, giving it beans. Got my accreditation applied for. Fingers cross, well. If not, I'll get a ticket. Love that. Obviously, by Chelsea standards, they've had a little bit of a quiet window.
