I'm moving a little bit slow because I went trick-or-treating with my three-year-old who is like carrying a tree stump.

And, of course, they peter out about halfway through the rounds while their first-grade sister is still going strong.

So I'm lugging them around. and it is like carrying a tree stump.

Not the best idea, then you drive many hours afterwards, and so I'm basically frozen, but I have

my relief factor. I'll get to that in a little bit. This is the octave of all souls, and I always do

this once a year, every year to remind the Catholics in the audience

or to explain to the non-Catholics. So whether you're a Protestant, Jew, Muslim, none of the

above, atheists, don't like Catholics, whatever. So you understand what Catholics are doing.

We believe Catholics in purgatory. So most Protestants believe that upon death you go into immediate spiritual repose in the

presence of God or into, I don't know, some other kind of state, but you're not suffering.

Church believes in church militant as people who are in the church on earth,

and church suffering are people in purgatory,

and church triumphant are people who are in presence of God.
