Urban back from the combine, and it happens so quickly, but free agency is next week.

Yeah, really kind of snuck up on us here. It's a little earlier, I guess, than some years. You know, it's like 13th, 14th or 15th. But yeah, we're right there. And it's going to be a fun few days. Yeah, it should be. I'm sure we'll hear some news this week leading into all the news next week. But it's an exciting time of year. It's a love, hateate relationship with the combine, but I thought there was a lot

of information that came out of there. I feel like it was a good week. Yeah, from the stories you told me,

it sure was. It seems like you got a lot out of it. I do miss going a little bit, but there's

really no reason for us both to be there anymore the way access has changed but

um i always enjoyed my time in indy yeah it's so weird too because it's like it's obviously the

the combine for the most part is at least the front face front facing part of the combine is really

geared toward the draft but it's right before

free agency. So it's like, I'm really focused on free agency there. Then you have to remind

yourself like, oh yeah, all the prospects are here. This is a draft event. They're going to do all

the on-field testing. You see all the 40 times. You see theverts. And you're like, okay, this is exciting. But now it's back to free agency. Yeah. That's true. We'll have plenty of time after free agency to gird for the draft. I like that. I might steal that. We have a lot to talk about today. Eagles have a new coach that they added to the mix.

We want to talk about Gerard Johnson a little bit.

The NFLPA report card was leaked, so we know the Eagles grades on all those categories.

We'll go through those.

We have questions to get to, but since Free Agency is starting just next week, we figured we'd spend this

podcast looking at the Eagles offensive free agents and some of the positions on offense.

And then on Thursday, we'll go through every position on defense, kind of give a primer there.

But before we do that, I do kind of want to just like go over where the Eagles are in terms of salary cap, space, that sort of thing.

Let's do it.

So the Eagles right now projected to have just over $12.6 million in cap space, not a ton, but kind of what you'd expect.

And the way the Eagles structure contracts these days, it's like they don't need a ton of cap space to sign big ticket free agents because if you're signing a big free agent, you're going to spread it out over the length of a long contract.

With that said, don't expect any major splashes from the Eagles, at least in free agency.
