joined the insurgents in attacking the Chidean government. They just like kind of freely cross

the border of the strip and went into Chad. It was clear to Malum that Libby was using the strip

to further expand into Chad or at the very least, using as a launching base to eventually put a more

subservient government in Chad. By this point, the Froly Nat began to splinter, however.

While still not being huge fans of the Chidean government, one of these splitter groups,

an armed force was called the Armed Forces of the North, commanded by Hassan Habre,

hated Libya even more. Because they wanted a liberation group. They didn't want to be subservient

to some asshole in a different country. He saw Gaddafi as probably not being the guy that was

going to bring the freedom and liberation that they had always talked about. So Habre joined the

government. He struck a deal with Malum, becoming his prime minister. Gaddafi saw this as what

it was, a huge fuck you to his plans. The reason for this was he was framing himself as the Muslim

liberator of Chad. And pointing a finger at the Chidean government like, look, they don't give a

fuck about you. They're not putting any Muslims in power. They don't even want to speak Arabic.
