a person to recoil in horror if they witness them in person, can be monetized

and streamed to thousands of paying subscribers.

A place where the distance between the viewer and the act creates a kind of moral anesthesia,

where clicking a button to watch something terrible feels fundamentally different from being

in the room when it happens, even though

the suffering on the other end of that stream is every bit as real.

This is the story of a man who understood that dynamic better than almost anyone.

A man who built a business, a profitable, operational, self-sustaining business around

the live streaming of human mutilation.

A man who performed illegal castrations and amputations in apartments and hotel rooms across

London, using kitchen knives and veterinary tools, on people who ranged from willing participants

to vulnerable victims who had no idea what they were
