basically once they're in a once they're in the like system once they're in a sober house or a

detox center um the the the detox center will like charge as many things as possible to

their insurance because the insurance is set up to pay and doesn't really have a lot of

oversight over whether you actually do the things that you're doing.

And you're also like incentivized kind of to not get clean or not treat your patients,

rather, if you're kind of getting paid by a for-profit insurance thing

or by, you know, something like Medi-Cal.

So it raises some interesting questions.

But they milk it.

And so like a good example of how they do this is that they urine test you constantly if you're in one of these things.

And they don't even do the test a lot of times.

They just write a report that they did the test or they do it,

but they find ways to charge like $9,000 per test when the cost of actually doing it is much lower.

You know, or they just don't report or whatever.

And then all that money gets pocketed, right?

The, the main head of the pyramid gets a biggest chunk.

They kick back a bunch, like, via, you know, weird shady wire transfers and stuff to the bodybrokers.

And then the addict just got paid the one time up front.

So they don't, you know, they're not privy to any of this

they don't fucking know you know and what's really fucked up about this is that once you've reached

like your limit for how much you're allowed to to charge this insurance company for one patient

they cut the patient loose and sometimes will purposely sort of induce a relapse
