Last week, the California governor's race was upended with news that Democratic nominee Eric Swallow

was dropping out after allegations around sexual misconduct. While Democrats tried to deal

with what that means for their side, on the other side, a Republican

is pulling out in front of the pack with a clear advantage over his opponents. That Republican

is Steve Hilton. He's a conservative commentator and former Fox News host. He's British American.

His parents immigrated to the United States from Hungary. He was raised in England. He's British American. His parents immigrated to the United States from

in America. And with the endorsement of President Donald Trump, he has quickly become the frontrunner

for the Republican nomination. Today, I sit down with Steve Hilton to talk about

exactly how California has changed since he moved there some 15 years ago, what direction he

wants to take the state, his beef with efforts to address climate change through regulatory

policy, and how he plans to fix the affordability crisis.
