The strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde is a Gothic nirvana, written by Scottish author Robert

Louis Stevenson and published in 1886.

It's one of the most famous examples of the Gothic horror genre alongside books like Frankenstein, Drachina, and the Portrait

of Doreen Gray. While you may not typically think of sleep and horror going together,

this story is more of an old style slow burn mystery. There are no jump scares in our five-part tale.

The truth about these two different characters of Jekyll and Hyde

is revealed as an easy pace.

The Novella follows a lawyer who is an acquaintance of the friendly Dr. Jekyll,

as he tries to unravel the mysterious connections between Jekyll and the cruel and unpredictable Mr Hyde.

For some reason Jekyll seems to trust Hyde implicitly, giving him access to his bank accounts

and house, despite his violent outbursts.

Jekyll's friends are concerned, but the doctor is elusive when asked about Hyde. It's a monster tale of the most classic kind,

showing us that sometimes the most monstrous things are inside people all along.
