I mean it's interesting too because they there were going to Creek and Cave to do set, huh? No. Yeah.

I mean, it's interesting, too, because they, there was a stark difference in Bushwick and Ridgewood

residents because in Ridgewood, they didn't get sidewalks.

You just have more space here, you know?

Well, kind of like that, yeah, because it was like a rural area, basically.

And so people, a Ridgewoodite could be singled out by taking to the middle of the street to walk.

They just, like, didn't like sidewalks.

And Ridgewood, I found this pretty fascinating fascinating too. Eventually they, they stopped this,

but Bushwick would get public water. Ridgewood had to pay money to this stupid company called the

Citizens Water Supply Company, which the city ended up condemning in 1924.

So they're kind of, you know, slowly becoming the same place.

And then, uh, you know, mid 20th century, there is, uh, white flights in a lot of different places.

New York, especially.
