The dismembered torso of 27-year-old Lauren Theresa Giddings is discovered by police.

Rapped in five separate black hefty brand plastic bags.

Stuffed into a roll-away trash can just beside her make-in-Georgia apartment.

So we started looking a little close around the outside and discovered the trash bag that

was in one of the dumpsters.

Once they were able to open the bag and look in, they discovered her body.

Said Bibb County Sheriff's Lieutenant Randy Gonzalez.

We just found her torso.

There were no limbs attached and of course her head was missing as well, so she just had

a torso.

Making police chief Mike Burns followed with, all homicides are really bad, but one like

this you don't ever forget.

I've seen about every way a human can kill another human.

I would say this would be in the top two.

Lauren was born in the spring of 1984.

She was the oldest of three sisters and described as fun, loving, impeligent, and driven.

She had aspirations to be a Supreme Court justice.

The president, her mother Karen Giddings explained, the sky was the limit.

I could really see her being a judge.

She loved the law.

In fact, Lauren was the first person in her family to go to college.
