this is all in the show and like i think the show would pair it pairs really well with the story of

edward bernays because he like fucking pioneered that like he cranked that was already kind of

an organic process according to like someone like you to board but like he cranked that shit up to

11 if you don't know who he is he's sigman Freud's nephew. He invented PR and he wrote a book called

Propaganda in like the 30s or 20s, I want to say. Um, propaganda is just like, I read it. It's one of the

most evil books I've ever read because it's just talking about human beings like they are just cattle like to be

manipulated he refers to this like invisible government throughout the book that's like the real

order of things and like uses all these like herd psychology terms and stuff and uh and he like

he you know describes a very nihilistic view of the world and how basically

you know he makes an argument that like eh you know monarchism like authoritarianism never really

ended it's just now it's invisible and it's,

you know,

people are still subjects,

but they're subjects,

uh,

in the marketplace or whatever.

And he's like,

he's the godfather of PR.

He invented a lot of advertising.
