I've seen quite a few things of his in the last few years.

But Ben Hecht is like, what?

Yeah, he's the invented story practically.

Exactly.

And you can tell that Ben Hecht wrote this script.

This is a fantastic script.

It's really, really a fantastic ship. And it kind of is the structure of it that works so well. And there's not a flagging moment in it. There's like, it's a, it's a watch piece. Yeah. It's a rope that tightens and keeps tightening. Yeah. It's like this giant cougou clock that just keeps working until the setting off its every hour it's uh its thing one of

the things i like in swashbucklers i think there's there's certain things that need to happen in order

for it to be a proper swashbuckler for me to get completely on board and one of the things that to me

is an important ingredient is i want to be involved with the politics of it.

I want to be involved with the intrigue in the court.

The world.

The world of it.

And that's one of the reasons why I like the George Bruce written one so much because the intrigues of the court are very much what's helping run the story.

And this has a wonderful intrigue of the court, all involving Jamaica and England and Captain Morgan. Yeah.

Spicy Captain Morgan. Going legit. I'm not going to go into all the details of that because

that's part of the fun of the movie. But Captain Morgan has been given amnesty for all of his crimes.

He will be the king's power in the Caribbean.
