So what is the project?

Well, as I've been talking about now for fucking years on the show,

and I think as all of us have been feeling, I think,

over the last couple of years ago since COVID, it's absolutely necessary

right now for communists to start thinking about the working class not as some sort of external object to be instrumentalized by communists.

To not see the working class as like an outside instrument to be worked upon by communists,

but instead as the project of building communism coming out instead of working class

self-activity and working class self-organization. I like many people

especially after the DSA came up and started pushing things forward in the political sphere.

I waited, I think like other people did too, for something similar to a rise in the union

movement or within the economy or whatever, for there would be something adequate to the times to come along.

And it just, it simply hasn't happened.

We do not have an organization, we do not have a project adequate to the task of uniting all the disparate struggles

that exist across America, let alone across the world. So, sick of waiting now, I think it's time for us to start putting our money where our mouth is and start to actually build something,

start to build something adequate to the task.

What this project is going to be about is not, we're not building a union here, certainly not

in the traditional sense of it. We're not reforming like a new IWW. We're not going to plumb the depths of what say people like Labor Notes or Teamsters for a Democratic

Union have been doing for a long time for decades at this point in time.
