Task Force, it is time for another movie club preview, and this time it was your pick.

That's right, I put my indecision in your hands, and I gave you a few movies on Patreon from 824 that I've been wanting to watch.

And you voted this time it is The Lighthouse. Man, was I super excited to watch this one?

It was such a mind twist.

I'm so excited to break this one down because it's so

artistic. There's so much left unsaid, left to your interpretation. So let us know what you

think. But without further ado, here is a quick preview of today's episode of movie club,

It's just going to sound very like, we see this absurd thing and we move on.

And then, yeah, they just cut away. So buckle up. Yeah, dude. There was one, and maybe I'm getting

ahead of myself, but I'm saying it because I'm curious if you can help explain it for me, Fredo. As he's doing these chores, he dumps a bag of dust into a bin, and then we

see swirling eddies in this liquid. And we like, the music crescendos as we're zooming in slowly

on this, this liquid or whatever. I watched that like three times to try to understand

contextually what he was doing and what that chore was. Yeah, I thought it was the, I thought it was the

water cistern. I thought it was like a. So what is he putting in it? Something to help like.

Purify? Yeah. Maybe desalinate, man. Okay, I don't know. Sorry to interrupt. I just... No, I was like, what is that? Yeah. I was the same way. Yeah. The first of many things in this movie that you see them do and they don't explain. So we're going to be doing this a lot. Yeah. Tending to chores, the young man proceeds into the lighthouse to refuel the lighthouse with more oil. He's curious and wants to see the light, but the older

man cuts him off, telling him to go back downstairs. We noticed that the man has the keys

to open the hatch at the top of the lighthouse. Dinner that night was more chatter. We learned

that the older man had an assistant that went mad and died, believing that the light was salvation.

The older man had noticed earlier that day that the younger man had been stopped by

Seagull and threw a rock at it.

The older man warned that this is bad luck to kill a seabird.
