It is that time of the week again, Task Force, and we're back with another preview of today's

episode of Movie Club, available over at redwebpod.com. And today's episode is about the recent

movie Frankenstein. I had never seen any proper Frankenstein story. I knew a little bit about

the lore of the creature, the Frankenstein monster.

So I was really happy for the excuse to sit down with my boys, do a movie club over this fantastic gothic horror movie.

It might not be October anymore, but I think this is a near perfect winter vibe movie.

A Danish crew led by Captain Anderson gets their ship stuck in the middle of the frozen ocean.

Despite the freezing temperature and low morale, Anderson intends to see his voyage through to the end.

The crew is then found by Baron Victor Frankenstein, played by Oscar Isaac,

who is severely wounded. They bring Victor on board, but they are soon found by a gigantic

creature, played by Jacob and Lordy. The men attempt to defend themselves, but are outmatched

by the creature's brute strength, and he kills six men. He manages to board the ship, but

the men throw him overboard and shoot the ice

so that he may sink underwater. Anderson brings Victor into his quarters so that he may

attend to his wounds. Victor admits that the creature is of his own making. He begins to tell

Anderson what brought him to this point. Riveting start.

Dude. Automatic off the bat.

So good.

And the glimpse you get at just his eyes.

He's towering and bulky because of the warm furs he's wearing.

But like you just see his eyes in the glint of the kind of fires on them.
