Here's why Rectinwald lost a nomination because the Mises Caucus were not a majority even at the convention, but they were by far the largest plurality.

So they had a good shot at winning.

And Rectinwald won on like most of the ballots, but then, you know, people kept getting knocked off, knocked off.

You have the classical liberal faction that supports Oliver.

And then you have a bunch of people in the middle who are just kind of like down the line
