This is John Bachelor, conversation with Lance Gatwick, a principal in

Nexial research in Tokyo about how the PLA Navy and Coast Guard continue to

violate the exclusive economic zone of Japan in the Okinawa chain and between the

Okinawa chain and the island of Senkaku. This is a very detailed analysis of the PLA Navy's practice or presentation of what would be necessary in a wartime environment to pass through the Okinawa chain to get out of the first island chain. This is Lance Gatling in Tokyo

analyzing the map between Japan and Taiwan, especially around the Sencaku, the controversial Sencaku islands that are in the

possession of the Japanese.

They have continued operations in the vicinity. They dash inside the

exclusive economic zone. They'll come out in in exercise formations.

They've also passed the Diyu,

past the Sencoco Islands to go through the Okinawa

archipelago, and we've talked about that before and how they have to access just a couple of

major straits that can be useful in a military operation like Bianco straits.

So they continue to have those operations and in the recent encirclement of Taiwan

with Chinese military operations,

encircling the entire island.

They did in fact have passage of those Japanese controlled

international straits and then

30 seconds lance 30 seconds and then they also egress through the

bashi strait between uh... Taiwan and the northernmost islands of the Philippines archipelago.
