of conspiracy theory Lou and how it relates to cover up? Right well I one way, right, conspiracy theories or conspiracy thinking is just sort of doing something that we all do in terms of creating connections, right?

Creating connections in order to produce meaning to understand the seeming kind of random

events that happen in our life.

But conspiracy theories in particular try to take the unexplained things that seem to affect our lives, right, and connect it to a larger force.

So I kind of think of conspiracy theories

as like the replacement for structural thinking,

because we've taught, at least I have in my sort of academic training, right,

to not think, actually, in a very like structural way, to think in this kind of postmodern way of just sort of connecting

seemingly like disparate and random things,

as if everything is just kind of this interplay of signifiers,
