So he decides that even though Ackaba seems impenetrable,

what if though you attacked it from the other side, the landward side,

then it would be complete, it's almost defenceless.

We might be able to take Aqaba if we attacked it from the other side. However, the other side is open, barren, pitiless desert.

Right. So, right.

So the only people that could possibly attack that are like a Bedouin camel army. Well, that's exactly what

Lawrence has got or what Faisal or Abdullah or Zaid are able to give him. You know, what is it a

couple of a hundred? Is it a couple hundred odd? With Alder. Yes, I think so. So they go way

behind enemy lines, way deep into the desert, to come all the way around,

I put a map up again, once again, so people see, to come around to attack Akaba from the desert

where the Turks would never dream that that's a possibility even.

It had never been done before.

Yeah, tactical genius.

Yeah.

Genuine, really incredible. But also,. Mm. Yeah. Genuine.

Really incredible.

But also, again, that thing that, yeah, only Lawrence with no fear, no understanding of fear, could, you know, would dare to lead such an expedition.

It's remarkable that that did happen.
