We're going to start off in Livingston Parish, Louisiana, right where we record out of right now.

And I'm going to tell you about a Livingston Parish jury who on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, found Melanie Curtin not guilty on all charges of simple rape and video voyeurism after deliberating for about three hours,

and this was at the end of an eight-day retrial. Tears of joy filled the courtroom as in a unanimous 12-person jury delivered the verdict.

Curtin, who had faced up to 25 years in prison if

convicted, broke down emotionally alongside her mother, fiancee, and youngest son. Quote,

I am so thankful for the people that prayed for me and fought for me, and I'm looking forward

to freedom, Curtin told reporters outside of the courthouse.
