island chain to Hawaii and beyond. Grant looks very carefully at the Chinese ambitions and

comes to a conclusion. We are looking at fighting our way to the fight,

given the Chinese moves on these islands all the way to Hawaii.

Oh, and beyond, all the way to Latin America, as I said,

and you can stretch this out even across the Atlantic to Africa and beyond.

That's China's objectives.

Yes, you would find the People's Liberation Army, Navy and Air Force and Brown forces conceivably,

operating in the Central Pacific, South Pacific, Southwest Pacific.

And currently, well, for decades, we have assumed that the Central Pacific was safe,

that we have free military access.

We have some actual agreements with the three main countries there, Palau, Micronesia,

and Marshall Islands that allow us to have military preeminence. They can't allow a foreign military

to go in there without our permission. But you could find, because of successful Chinese

political warfare in the Central Pacific and that region, that they they just tell us we don't care what the deal is.

The Chinese are coming.
