Yes, that's a great question.

Once again, I have to apologize to your listeners.

I appear on on a day when their 401ks have shrunk in value as a reliable figure, a sort of grim weeper.

Well, I guess it's a bit of a Humpty Dumpty situation.

You know, they want to put the stock market back together again, and it's not so easy.

What I thought, first of all, we had this monster rally on yesterday, which to some extent reflected panic, short closing, short covering by hedge funds who were betting on falling markets and

some, I guess, momentum trading. But after such a rally on Wednesday, it was to be expected that

the market would maybe come back a bit today. But the scale of the fall today was pretty hefty.

It's very hard to even pretend to think the crisis is over because so much has been damaged.
