Hello and welcome to Brokonomics. Now in this episode we are going to be looking at the

0:04.4

return of the strong gods. That is the title of a book by R R R R R R R R R R R R R R R.

0:09.4

Reno which makes a fascinating case. Now I originally got the book and read it

0:14.4

because I thought the title looked quite good and I can see people in our sphere

0:17.6

are talking about it. But I started to realize as I as I read through it that

0:22.2

actually there is a really interesting message in this book and there's a really

0:27.4

interesting lens of the way that people can look at the world around them and understand what's going on in society,

1:20.6

lot of philosophical discussion because of course it is a

1:23.0

counter to the open society written by a philosopher called Carl Popper.

1:29.7

Now I have studied a little bit of philosophy but not that much but luckily we have an actual proper philosopher on the payroll

1:39.0
