You didn't expect to see this, and we didn't expect to write it: We're bringing back Bonfireside Chat.

We ended the show because we ran out of Souls games, and because there wasn't much on the near horizon. Rather than forcing the show along with a format that didn't suit the games we were covering, it felt best to put it on ice.

What's changed? We have a major game like Sekiro just around the corner. A ton of soulslikes have come out in the past year and a half. And the time away from the show has helped us figure out a format that will be a more sustainable and better fit for the games we're covering.

So, twice a month we will be talking about soulslike and souls-related games. These episodes will be available for $5 and up Patrons. We will not force an area-by-area analysis unless the game bears it. We will aim to have one guest per game, on the wrapup episode. This wrapup episode will also serve as the letters episode where we read your responses.

It's that simple!

The other reason we're doing this is because we miss the show. Just like it felt like it was time to end things, it now feels like it's time to pick them back up.

So, let's celebrate! Our first game for the new run of the show will be the very strange souslike shooter: Immortal Unchained. Look for the first episode to come out later this month.
