Like, I'm really glad, yeah, just for kind of completionism's sake, I really did want to do the season two finale, the two-parter election night parts, one and two.

And we're going easy on you guys because

we're doing the last two episodes in one. Yeah, which I'm glad we did because, you know, and I realized,

you know, in watching this and preparing for this discussion, I realized that one of the big

problems with talking about the newsroom, which I suppose we experienced a little bit with Studio

60, but I think it's been far more acute with this show, is there are so many running arcs on this show that you kind of run out and new things to talk about.

Like my understanding going into the newsroom was that, okay, maybe there's, you know, continuity between the episodes, maybe there are seasonlong arcs, but basically the format and the

formula is Jeff Daniels and the Atreped team at the newsroom. Like, they experience the news every week.

And we learn a different lesson about the news and news people. And crucially, every week we got to see

an event from two years ago. Yeah. And how it should have been done right. Yeah. And like,

and that has continued to some degree. But like, how it should have been done right. Yeah. And like, and that has

continued to some degree, but like not really, not as much as I thought. Season one in the newsroom,

I think you'll agree, was great. It was fantastic television. All of the most iconic moments from the show

so far are in season one. And season two, probably because season one was only middlingly received. Yeah, it's like

46% on rotten tomatoes or something. Right. Season two has invested much more in the kind of soap opera stuff.

Now, mind you, maybe Sorkin did that because those are his instincts. We definitely saw Studio 60 go

in a soap opera-ish direction. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. But I'm inclined to think
