It was 10 shows, much hyped and little watched.

There was a lot of hype around, you know, John Cleese, this British national treasure,

this beloved figure basically associated with liberalism or, you know,

obviously he campaigned for the Lib Dems in the 80s, but a liberally encoded cultural figure

doing a show on this hard right British news show. You know, we've all seen what John Cleese has

been up to in recent years. You know, he's, he doesn't like the wokes. He doesn't like the

cancel cultures.

And it'd be a show about that.

But also, as we found out in previous episodes, we thought we were going to watch one.

We now have a deep relationship with this show.

Deeper than anybody. Anyone who's watched it deeper than even the star of it.

Because we expected we're going to watch one episode of this show. It's going to be a sort of charming

curiosity where, oh, guess what? John Cleese doesn't like the wokesters. And the thing is,

it's kind of that. And there's a lot of Pat formulaic, you know, shit that is the same shit we've been hearing for 15 years from, you know,

people like Cleese and others in the sort of right-leaning liberal milieu that he's now in

Meshton. But it's also not that because he is also somebody who has become, it became very clear.

I think was it the first episode we watched when he was talking to Stephen Fry, who is the kind of

person who I think for John Clee's scans is like, wow, this guy is like a really deep intellectual.
