there's a great scene, one of these staff meetings where, you know, McKenzie has a,

she's a whiteboard behind her that has, like, her list of stories for the night.

And that, man, this was Christmas for me because we hadn't found anything yet to replace

studio 60s, like, bored with Bradley Rifford and Matthew Perry would have, like, the sketches

and they'd have, like, the worst names imaginable. So this, this is the list.

Problematic, the problematic crocodile. This is the list of the stories that they were going to

cover on tonight's broadcast before the one-two punch of Casey Anthony and Anthony Weiner.

Number one, Senate obstruction becomes worst in U.S. history. Oh yeah. So one of the people at

the meeting says, you know, the Senate has confirmed fewer of Obama's

appointees than any other president.

Number two, and I'm quoting this directly, is job situation dire, new stimulus needed,

question mark.

I feel like that might be pertinent tomorrow still.

Yeah.

Number three, AFL-CIO, Sowers on Obama.

Uh-huh.

Okay, but number four is my favorite.

War on drugs, a failure.

Yeah, again, these are evergreen stories, you know?

This is a nightly broadcast, is it?

Yeah.

Like, yeah, it's news night.
