When you scale that up to the whole episode and the ratio of self-serious to like

completely silly and ridiculous and low stakes is like 99 to one in favor of the silly and low

stakes, I don't know, this bit is even more ridiculous, like just Don delivering this pompous

little monologue where he's like, you know,

adorcably dressing down the flight attendant for telling him to, you know, sit down and put on his

seatbelt. And then he sees the stripes on the commercial airline pilots, shoulders. And he sees

the little like, I don't know, American Airlines badge or whatever on his chest. And he's like, sir, my name is Don

Kiefer. That's Elliot Hirsch and that's Sloan Sabbath. We work for Atlantis cable news. And he turns to

the plane and he just says, we reported the news. You know, I love that because it's like, okay,

even without technology, even without anything, you know, we're going to do our job of news reporting.

It's like, you know, a doctor may not have an office to work in, but, you know, God damn it, he can work ad hoc.

He can be a doctor at any moment.

You know, a newsman can go door to door reporting the news if need be.

It's part of his sacred calling. Now, I think we've

basically done this episode. There is just one final thing I wanted to bring up. And we've talked

around this already. But there is the scene where Charlie officially informs the newsroom,

what they're about to report, you know, that bin Laden has been killed. They all applaud and they all
