As we've established, you're one of the reigning scholars of the God's Not Dead franchise.

Well, what if the star and sort of creative godfather of the series, David A.R. White,

decided to spread his wings.

Well, folks, that happened in the year 2020 with his John Wick exploitation thriller, Beckman.

You can't fool God.

You can't cheat God. Can't cheat God.

He knows who you are.

Like, I came to this movie with an open heart and an open mind, and I'm curious what

you think of, of this faith-based action film.

By the standards of, particularly the recent standards of God's Not Dead, I found it to

be surprisingly, decently technically made, I found it to be surprisingly,

decently technically made, and at least to be in dialogue with real movies, which was shocking.

Even with the budget constraints that one expects from a David A.R. White movie, I thought

it's extraordinary contortions to try to get a

Christian message into a movie about an assassin gunning down cult-based traffickers and other people

was funny. They must have only had Billy Baldwin, who plays the main villain, a cult leader for like maybe 48 hours. But I thought he was fantastic, basically playing a Jack Donagie like 30 second interstitial cutaway in 30 Rock.

And that the rest of this movie was unimaginably dull.
