Many people have drawn parallels between Donald Trump and the WWE.

Trump, of course, is long-standing ties to the WWE.

But if we're talking about a society and a politics that is sort of descended into spectacle,

I think in a very bipartisan way,

WWE is a very fruitful terrain for discussion.

And that might not have even been what you had in mind well when you suggested we talk about this documentary.

But that's kind of where my mind went in watching it.

There were a lot of things in this Mr. McMahon documentary that I found very stimulating.

That is the title of the documentary series, Mr. McMahon, a six-part, I believe, Netflix documentary series

about The Man, the Myth, The Legend, the founder and former CEO of the WWE Vince McMahon.

America's dad, they're calling him.

Oh, my God.

It covers his life and career from his early days as a poor, abused child, to the man who

consolidated, one might say monopolized the wrestling industry in the United States, to his recent

fall from grace amidst a trillion allegations.

He's one of those guys whose allegations tab on Wikipedia is longer than in search of

lost time. I mean, it's even more extensive than that. He's a guy who I just, I'm on, I have his

Wikipedia page open. Not only is there a tab that's detailing all the different sexual misconduct

scandal. So, and that's a whole article in and of itself. So got to say, probably some of the

least surprising revelations of this kind given, like if you know anything about Vince McMahon,

but this documentary, which appears to mostly have been filmed and cut together,
