Anyway, last night I was up late seeing a movie called AgroDrift by Harmony Corrine, who made

Spring Breakers, Gummo.

He wrote Kids.

And this new movie that he's made, he's shot entirely in infrared, you know, and it has

this kind of like wall-to-wall EDM soundtrack and like kind of the most minimal plot.

He's been going around in interviews talking

about how he's bored with movies. He wants to move beyond movies. He wants to get to the next step

beyond movies. And it seems that he's in his old age, he's discovered TikTok. And it's really

interested in that. I just interject to say, I really hope that TikTok is not the next stage beyond movies.

Well, actually, I think it's indicative of Harmony Carine's age.

He's 50 now.

He used to be a real, like, en font, tarieb.

Like, he wrote kids when he was, I don't know, 17.

You know, he was a real prodigy.

And I certainly admire his efforts to stay on the cutting edge to a degree.

I think he's done a pretty good job.

I mean, like, Spring Breakers was certainly an influential movie and its aesthetics for sort of defining what the 2010s looked like.

But it's funny, you know, you hear him talking about wanting to create like a post movie or something beyond.

And it's like, okay, this movie is, it's still a movie, though. Like, it's got a story. It's 80 minutes.

I mean, post movie is, if there is such a thing as post movie. But if there is such a thing as a

post movie, it's the video games and the TikTok videos that he's drawing inspiration from.

It's sort of indicative of the fact that he is actually still sort of in an old paradigm.
