We're going to have a bit of a jam session, and we're going to center not just local Toronto

eccentrics, but also just bad articles, favorite bad articles of ours.

We're going to read from just a few, kind of make fun of some low-hanging fruit, and just generally

have a good time.

really easy targets, people who I am unlikely to meet. Well, actually, the first one I have Matt,

but he's somebody who I've talked about on the podcast before, but he is an inexhaustible source of

delight. He is Hollywood's greatest Oscar blogger,

Jeffrey Wells. Oh, hell yeah. The proprietor of Hollywood Elsewhere.com. Jeffrey Wells, I've said

this before, but many people will have understandably forgotten. He's been in the entertainment

industry for many years. In the early 80s, he used to be a movie publicist,

transitioned into a career as a journalist, writing for places like premiere and entertainment

weekly. And 20 years ago, he got his own blog, Hollywood Elsewhere. And on the main site,

there's a revolving banner that has various quotes from big-time Hollywood directors who have praised him over the years.

People like Alejandro, Inorritu, people like Guillermo del Toro.

There's a quote by J.J. Abrams, and he says,
