Well, I wanted to do this movie for the obvious reason of the recent UN climate report.

That is such a boring reason to want to do this.

Hang on.

I just wanted to do it because it's our friend and friend and comrade Al Gore.

Hang on.

That was only the first thought.

Then I started thinking about it more.

And I started to look back on myself being a 17-year-old going to see this movie in a theater, going to the Cumberland

Theater, Rest in Power, downtown, surrounded by old people, you know, very sophisticated,

seeing a documentary film, seeing a documentary film about something really important, which was climate

change, starring the man who should have been president, Al Gore. And, you know, much of the

movie was compelling. I could have done with fewer shots of Al Gore. And, you know, much of the movie was compelling.

looking mournfully outside various windows, you know.

There's some stuff, which I'm sure was in keeping with, like, the documentary aesthetics

at the time.

Oh, like the cartoon segment.

Yeah, well, that kind of stuff.

But then just like

kind of the shots you were talking about where it'll be a picture of him like from behind, like

looking mournfully out of a window. And now it honestly just looks like Tim and Eric or something.
