Oh, so, I mean, this is not a bit.

We actually are going to talk about the film Master of Disguise this week.

This has been a long time coming.

This is a movie that Will and I actually have a little bit of a history with.

Before we monetized our friendship through the podcast, as is well known to longtime listeners of the show,

we used to hate watch a lot of movies. That was kind of one of our go-to things we would do when

we would hang out. And I seem to recall at least one, if not two, viewings of Master of Disguise.

I do for you now, a scene from the hit motion picture, Shrek. You ready? Okay.

And I would quit this podcast in a second

if I thought I had even a 1% chance of replacing Ellen.

Anyway, amid the lingering melancholy after the collapse of the Bernie campaign, these are real signs of hope.

And signs also, I think, that the kind of new insurgent infrastructure that's been built through these groups like Justice Democrats over the past few years is still very effective and it's not going anywhere.

And it certainly wasn't a fluke, which was the big story or rather the big narrative

after AOC one was like, oh, well, you know, she just caught this guy with his pants down.

You know, they didn't take the threat seriously and this isn't going to happen anymore.

I can't remember which Democratic source it was.

In fact, it might have been an honest one, said something about Justice Democrats after AOC one that was like to the effect of, oh, no one gives a shit about, you know, those nerds or whatever.
