Today you can see we have David Paulman with us.

David, welcome to the program.

Thanks for having me on Leighton.

David Pullman is a theology geek and debater extraordinaire.

He's self-taught, but I would put him up against any of my doctorally trained friends

based upon my experience in listening to David.

You handle yourself very well in theological debates. Brackston Hunter,

who is the president of Trinity Theological Seminary, where I also teach, message me not long ago

after listening to one of your debates and was expressing how impressed he was with you.

And so kudos, my friend. You're doing a really good job defending the faith and your understanding

of sociology as well.

Well, thank you so much. That's high praise coming from people that I hold in as high regard

as you in Braxton.

Well, you do a really good job articulating yourself, much like Warren McGrew, who I interviewed

this last week in his debate with Matt Slick. I was impressed with both of you guys,

and you've done a really good job. And one of the things that I've always been interested in talking

with you about is the doctrine of prevenient grace, because anybody who's a fan of the program knows

full well that I differ with my Armenian friends with regard to how

we describe what pervenient grace is. As you well know, you and I have even joked with each

other back and forth and pushed each other back and forth on our Facebook post, as I have

with Brian Abashano and as I did with Roger Olson when he was on the program. And it's in love.
