I should, I don't know whether this is necessary, but just in case, I should tell you that I was very proud last night to be judging the great sausage roll off, the red lion in Barnes.

Chefs from up and down the country, and I really mean up and down the country, congregating with their sausage rolls, which I judge. So I ate 16 sausage rolls last night

and sundry accompaniments as well, including pork scratchings and caviar. So if I sound a little

heavy today, that would be the reason why. So just an early warning up there. And it's Thursday,

so mystery hour on the way at 12.

In case you need a little... A globe of happiness peaking over the horizon of your morning.

That would be what Mystery Hour provides, I think.

As I glance to my right, I see a television screen. I see that

President Zelensky is poised to address a summit of EU leaders. Yesterday, of course, he was

addressing British MPs, receiving, I think you could describe it as a rapturous reception,

if that's an appropriate word to use in this context. Certainly a rare outbreak of

rather touching unity among almost all of our politicians. The only fly in the ointment

was a picture or some footage, I don't know if you've seen it, of Dominic Raab. Did you see this?

Staring at Kyrs Stama, with the demeanour, I don't say this lightly, he looked

a little bit like a serial killer, staring at Keir Starma and sort of licking his lips,

like a, like a sort of weird Hannibal Lecter type. I don't know what it was. Sometimes you

forget, and I know this better than any more as well as anyone.

Sometimes the camera can catch you inopportune moments or even taken out of context. You look weird in that 10 second snatch, but you wouldn't look weird at all if you were watching the entire minute.
