| 0:50.1 | Andrew, how are you? |
| 0:51.7 | Dude, I couldn't be better, man. |
| 0:53.1 | Truly couldn't be better to be on these airwaves with a good buddy talking about one of my favorite topics. A topic that is overlooked in this industry, and it makes me sick. It does, dude. It's like, it's that meme. I love how passionate you are right now. Dude, analysts, they only want one thing, right? And it's, it makes me sick. It's rookies, right? It's all they want, dude. They want to skip right to the combine. Combine's not to the end of the month, folks. And free agency starts in 32 days, 32 days until the legal tampering period. And there's just as much, if not more impact from free agency than the draft. So why don't we do things in order here, right? Why don't we talk a little free agency first, you know? Yeah. The tone, square it away. And then you go do all the fun rookie stuff, the film grinding and all that. So I'm glad we're talking free agent. I'm happy to be here. Love the passion. Let's get into it right away. George Pickens is our first player of the day. Amazing season for him in Dallas. He was the wide receiver 5 and PPR points per game in 2025 with 17.2. He was ninth among wide receivers and first downs per outrun. 12th amongst them in yards per outrun. Se seventh in yards per team pass attempt. Now, it would make sense for Dallas to keep them around. Obviously, things worked out really well for them. But also, George Pickens put him in a spot where he can get a bag from basically anyone who wants to get to him. And I'm sure there's a lot of suitors come in his way. Do you think he's staying in Dallas? |
| 2:18.3 | Do you think he's moving? |
| 2:19.5 | What do you think? |
| 2:20.6 | Yeah, I tell you, so with free agency, I always split wide receiver. Actually, I split every position up into who does what, because in the modern NFL, there's a lot of different roles, right? Like it's no longer just this guy's a wide receiver, this guy's a tight end, this guy's a running back. |
| 2:34.6 | Some tight ends are blocking tight ends, some are past catching. Some wide receivers can play split end, right? With your foot tethered to the line, outside, beating the jam. Some guys can't. They just play in the slot. Look at a guy like Josh Downs so far, right? So, guys that can play all three roles are more value. |
| 2:53.0 | So a guy like George Pickens is a tremendously valuable player. |
| 2:56.8 | Same with guys like, like, you got to split it up. |
| 2:59.8 | Like Christian Kirk can only kind of do one thing, whereas Mike Evans and Alec Pierce and even |
| 3:06.3 | Romeo Dobs can do more things, right? |
| 3:09.0 | So those guys command more money. |
| 3:11.4 | So like Pickens, if he were to become a free agent, I mean, he's the number one guy with a bullet. |
