Good morning everybody. You know, obviously jumping into the week, you know, is a very disappointing outcome there Saturday night. I know I mentioned that after the game and you're going back watching the film. You know, it's just one of those things that, you know, in the moment, in the situation,

you know, our guys did not respond, you know, to the way that we were, you know, hopeful in that

situation, being up 10, you know, going, you know, I think it was four minutes left in the game,

4.50, you know, I had all confidence that we were going to be able to finish the game and, you know, and get the win. You know, as you look in how we played, how we executed, you know, offensively, we're never able, we're never able to get in rhythm. You know, I thought there were some good things that we did in the run game at times. You know, really had no explosiveness in the offense. You know, inconsistent,

you know, in the passing game, you know, too many drops. You know, there was some miscommunication

on things that we were doing. You know, need to continue to create, you know, separation.

and that was something that really just, it was a tough night for us, you know, there offensively.

You look as a football team, you know, we had 11 penalties in the game. We went into halftime with two penalties for 15 yards. We had nine penalties for 100 yards in the second half.

That is extremely challenging to finish games when you have that type of result.

I thought defensively throughout the course of the game,

I mean, there were really just three drives that,

they had one drive in the first half where they did execute down the field and scored,

and then the last two drives. You know, they, the second last drive, they had, they had to go 97 yards.

There were three, you know, three penalties, two pass interference and a

targeting penalty that overturned an interception, you know, there on that drive. And then, you know,

obviously the final drive where they had the last play there at the end. But there was still, you

know, I thought our guys, you know, they played hard. I thought our defensive front was, you know, gave really good effort. I mean, I think, you know, you know, in the defense of backfield, we miss some one-on-one opportunities. And it goes, you know, those are some of the things that, you know, references trusting technique, trusting fundamentals. You know, we have talented guys there in the back end, you know, but in the moment,

we've got to just rely on those, on those fundamentals to be able to finish the plays in those

one-on-one situations, something that showed up in the first week and you also hear this past

week. But, you know, offensively, you know, our third down situations, our third and fourth

down situations were poor. And, you know, you look at the short yardage. You know, that's something that, you know, we have to be better at. We've got to be able to extend drives. I think, you know, third and fourth downs combined. We were 31% conversion, which is, you know, nowhere near our standard of how we want to operate. I think it's one of the keys to the game and really why we were unsuccessful.
