Summary

April 2025 will be remembered as the month when President Donald Trump declared war against the entire world -- a trade war to be exact. Whatever one thinks about his decision, it was a bold move that few chief executives would be willing to do. But he's far from the only president to take such drastic action. 0:40.8	Thanks for having me, Richard.
0:42.1	So Jonathan is a good friend of mine.
0:44.7	He is an attorney in Alabama.
0:48.1	So he is a lot smarter than me.

1:06.1	Ever since then, we like to talk about history. We're both pretty nerdy history people. And Jonathan,
1:13.6	and I just wanted to publicly acknowledge this, has been a big supporter of my book project.
1:18.6	For those of my listeners who are familiar with this, I did a Kickstarter last year to raise
1:24.3	money to edit the book and basically get it prepared for publication.
1:28.7	My book on George Washington.
1:30.4	And Jonathan and his wife, Taylor Lee, were incredibly generous.
