black quarterbacks and NASCAR. We've had Tiffany Cross in her new book and her great this

past weekend hosting job of AM Joy on MS&BC.

We've had Vince Carter and Antoine Jameson and today's episode is really dope.

We get newsy, we talk about the issues of the day with

Jason Johnson, who is one of my favorite commentators over at MS NBC. You know, I

wanted to talk about how we've how far we've come post George Floyd.

We had real momentum for policing reform but it feels like to me that we've lost steam.

You know the president weighed in with an executive order on policing and we have a saying

down south that when something is worthless it's about as good as an ashtray on a motorcycle.

And that's about how good the president's executive order was. on a And a lot of mayors with key exceptions like Frank Scott and Little Rock and London Breed in San Francisco

are opting for commissions to study the issue and to rename streets instead of basic reforms.

I really don't want you to rename any more streets.

And you can also revisit police budgets which should both be really straightforward.

Banning chokeholds are easy, But how many cities have real citizen oversight of police departments?

How many mayors have come out and made clear that they won't accept police union contracts that make accountability virtually

impossible and how many Senate and congressional candidates that are

asking for our vote are telling you what they'll do to make policing fairer.
